The Nikon N70 quick over view :

Introduced 1994

The Nikon N70 offers the Nikon F mount, most Nikkor and Nikon lenses having the F mount are compatible with the exception of a few I will name later.

The Nikon N70 is an Autofocus and manual focus camera with an electronic rangefinder. The Autofocus meter offers wide and spot selectable. Autofocus mode are single servo and continuous servo AF. Autofocus lock is available. The electronic rangefinder is available in manual mode with AF Nikkor and other AI-type Nikkor lenses with a maximum aperture of f/5.6 or faster. The N70 offers three built in exposure meters – Matrix – Center weighted – Spot (EV3 – EV20 for spot meter)

The Nikon N70 Exposure Modes – Programmed Auto (Auto-Multi Program and Vari Program) Shutter- Priority Auto, Aperture-Priority Auto and Manual.

The shutter is an electromagnetically controlled vertical-travel focal plane shutter. Shutter speeds from 1/4000 to 30 seconds in 1/3 EV steps.

Viewfinder 92% coverage.

Built in flash -Guide number 14m or 46ft at ISO 100, 28mm or longer lenses. Red eye reduction – TTL flash control including 3D Multi Sensor Balanced Fill Flash. Slow Sync and Rear Curtain Sync are possible. Flash sync up to 1/125 sec.

Batteries – 2 CR123A Lithium

Conclusion: I truly like this camera, it's versatile, light, and surprisingly rugged (not as rugged as the older F models, but rugged enough). This camera would make a terrific rig for someone breaking into film photography, although I'm quite certain the enthusiast and pro alike could make this camera do wonders.

If there was one con that should be mentioned it would have to be the rubber back used to coat the camera's film door. These backs tend to get sticky after several years, finding a copy without a sticky back is almost impossible.
